SEO Training
Who Should Learn SEO?
Web development and web marketing teams are the most common recipients of WebConsulting’s on-site training. However, if your organisation is strongly focused on the web (either strategically or from a revenue standpoint), having the executive team be a part of these sessions can be of great benefit. When we come to train your staff, we’re happy to accommodate anyone and everyone with an interest.
What Does SEO Training Cover?
Our goal in conducting SEO training is to provide a strong background for your organisation in all of the following areas:
How to Conduct Keyword Research
Elements of Design, Usability & Information Architecture that Create Successful Sites
On-Site Optimisation Tactics & Keyword Targeting
Link Building & Site Promotion Tactics
Site Maintenance Training
Many of our clients recognise the importance of keeping their sites up to date and wish to be able to carry out at least a basic level of maintenance of their own sites. For most, this simply involves updating news items, dates, workshops etc…
In order to make simple updates to your own site you will need some basics tools – usually including a HTML editor and FTP client software – most of which is available for free or is relatively cheap.
WebConsulting can help you choose, install and configure the software you’ll need, and also provide you with some basic training in how to use it – and keep your site up to date.
Blog Admin Training
Blog software is becoming increasing complex, and whilst it is generally reasonably easy to simply add new posts to your blogs, some of the moire advanced functionality can be a bit tricky.
We can customise a blog training course to meet your specific needs – teaching you as much (or as little) as you need to allow you to undertake the day to day management of your blog.
eCommerce Administration Training
eCommerce applications can be quite complex, and although we do typically include training as a part of the overall package for all eCommerce systems that we install, some clients like to get some additonal training and/or support t help them through the first few weeks or months of management and administration of their eCommerce sites.
